These cables, with foil-shielding, have memory effect, and are great both for in-rack wiring between components where it will stay put, and wiring inside-components for DIY projects.
No good for high impedance signals (goes without saying), or for uses that require continual winding and unwinding, but for its intended purposes, probably the best thing out there.
For those uses in which you need flexibility (continual winding and unwinding), however, I would recommend the Sommer Cable Cicada SO-D14.
