Very hard cable

The cable is hard to solder. Perhaps due to the fact that it is very hard.
It is definitely a not so flexible cable. I bought it to make some speaker cables (amp head to speakers). While I was able to screw it in the speakon connections when it came to solder it to jack it is nearly impossible.
Perhaps it is a good cable for other purposes but for mine I wouldn`t buy it again

Sommer Cable -quality, robust, reliable

I've used Sommer Cables quite a lot over the years. This time I needed a speaker cable to install a system in a new music venue. It had to be tough enough to survive the builders, affordable and able to provide a good quality signal to our passive speakers. It's hard to say whether one speaker cable is better than another, but I did a fair bit of reseach, compared all the specifications and this one was the best choice for me.

Very solid. Not flexible. Easy to strip the wire. Fitted in Hicon Jack HI-J63MA04.

Good quality but *very* stiff

Usable for installs but the sheath is a very stiff almost hard plastic. Totally unsuitable for temporary use from a cable drum or hand wound.
