Sturdy, but a little inconvenient.

Built solid (as with most of Sonor's hardware) although it has one fatal flaw.
The screw shaft is on the bottom half of the clutch. Screwing the top half down onto the bottom can be a little cumbersome.

Maybe not a huge deal for some.

...wenn man die HiHat eine Sechkantstange hat. Aber die 600er Serie ist ja eh über jeden Zweifel erhaben ;-). Sonor hat das in meinen Augen viel besser gelöst als andere Herseller. Da krieg ich beim Montieren regelmäßig die Krise mit den von unter anzuschraubenden Muttern und Rädchen, die sich dann beim Spielen doch wieder lösen... Mich stört einzig ein wenig der zu weiche Filz.. Dadurch verschiebt sich das obere Becken beim Spielen relativ leicht/schnell, so dass man überwiegend auf der Kante des Unteren Beckens rumdellert (=> Sägewerk!).Bei der alten Original-Clutch meiner Designer-HiHat waren die Filze deutlich fester, wodurch das Becker dann irgendwie mehr Halt hat. Nun ja, das kann man ja auch tauschen. Hab deshalb die alten Filze weiter verwendet. Tut?s für mich besser.

Mais attention, ne convient pas à tous les pieds de charleston, le diamêtre du clutch étant de 6, et la plupart des charleston en 8. Pas de panique, un petit coup de perçeuse avec forêt de diamêtre 8, ,tout en douceur, et bien centré, et ça marche trés bien.
