Worst potentiometers I ever bought

I bought a couple of these to replace the Harley Benton ones on my TE-52, but in the end, I kept the original HB potentiometers. The rotation is far from smooth, and the shaft seems to stick in certain positions.
I ended up leaving the originals installed. If I were to replace them again, I’d probably buy Alpha potentiometers; they do the job for a fifth of the price.

Waren gedacht zur Reparatur meines Greco Super Sound Basses von 1980. Ich wollte unbedingt die originalen Potiknöpfe wieder verwenden, wichtig ist dass man dafür 18 Zähne braucht. Daher kamen nur diese Potis bzw die von Göldo in Frage, da alle anderen Potis im Angebot 24 Zähne haben. Leider haben die TAD Potis längere Achsen sodass man beim Einbau etwas tricksen muss mit Unterlagen, damit die aufgesteckten Potiknöpfe nicht so weit rausstehen. Sonst gefallen sie mir gut, aber lassen sich nicht so geschmeidig drehen wie andere CTS Potis die ich schon habe. Sie kratzen mehr, und gleiten weniger.

...für meinen Cort Artisan Space 5 Bass. Diese Potis sind leichtgängiger als zB. CTS. Funktionieren Tip Top mit den von mir eingebauten Aguilera Super Split PU's. Ich werde die mal in einer meiner Gitarren einbauen um zu testen. Daumen hoch !!!
