Very accurate, and responsive
The first that arrived gave up just before the 30-day return period so I was lucky to be able to send it back. This is the only thing I gave it 4/5
Build quality: really sturdy, switch button is easily engaged, very easy to see the screan
Responsiveness: shows reading very quickly, don’t have much delay. Also recognizes pretty quickly if I strum all the strings to go in polytune mode.
Accuracy: I use it most often in strobe mode, and I have done tests with tone generators to check it’s accuracy, and yeah, it is damn accurate. The polytune mode is not so much. There are times, when in polytune mode it shows everything green, but when I check it individually it is on the red(in these cases when I tested it I switched to NOT the strobe, just to make it more apples to apples comparison)
Features: the buffered mode is really nice, since using it at the beginning of the signal chain I can use it as a buffer as well. The always on is also a nice feature, when you want a little help on seeing what note you are playing when soloing, so helps learn the fretboard. The is another switch to change for different tunings which is really handy. Also if you push the main button for long it switches to drop D.

Does tuning very well
but buffer on or off has no effect on sound, nothing at all.
i think my pedal is broken or buffer is always on..
Looked like packaging had been opened when i got it, one of the stickers was missing.
So difficult to send these back to germany.
edit: has been working well for me, im keeping it always on with a buffer.

It tunes your guitar perfectly and it's a must for any pedalboard. It doesn't take you any space at all.

Polytune 3 Noir
This tuner fits on every pedalboard. It has a great display that is well visible when it is dark on stage. Of course, the price is affordable.

Simple and easy to use
Easy to use. Good visible display. Note that you can’t use batteries to this pedal.

Close to perfect
Overall great. The only minor issue is that the polyphonic tuning shows a couple of strings just a bit off compared to individual tuning.

Fast and sleek but is it accurate?
The TC Electronic Polytune 3 mini Noir is an almost full-featured pedalboard tuner in a really compact form. It responds fast and switches from polyphonic to single string tuning fast and without glitches.
You can only tune to a base 440Hz with this tuner, so beware of that. No battery operation either.
As for the tuner's accuracy, there is a somewhat rough edge. When set to strobe mode, the polyphonic tuning completely agrees with the strobe single string tuning and with my peterson stroboclip tuner. Everything fine here. But, if you switch to needle mode (which is more convenient for me on stage), the low E string shows a little flat in polyphonic mode. If you tune it up, it shows a little sharp in single string mode. Not a massive difference, but it is a bit concerning. It is probably something that could be fixed with a firmware upgrade but the polytune 3 mini firmware cannot be upgraded. That's a bummer. So, if your pedalboard has enough space, go for a full size polytune 3.

Excellent tuner and buffer
Really nice tuner. Well built, small footprint, super easy to use.
The only drawbacks are that the multi string function doesn’t work for bass…. Which is excepted in fairness

Does the job
Nice, handy tuner with bright display. Couldn't ask for more. Comes with a buffer built in as well, so that's pretty cool
