I've used this speaker for several set ups, live music and dj-ing.
While its wonderful with a subwoofer, a pair of these can give decent base response on their own and have stood well both indoors and outdoors. A nice clean and clear sound giving excellent midrange and nice highs for those important vocals. A solid cabinet but not too heavy so making transport easy. Would be nice if they had a harder finish as the paint can chip, but thats a minor issue compared to the overall design.

Use these babies...and i mean babies by there size and weight...with two pro achat subs 112's. they sound great, weight less than a bag of leads and have handy little grab holes for carrying them.Very well made. I use em for acoustic gigs with the "Beatbuddy" drum pedal. Powered by the "Yamaha 5012c mixing desk,(Same advised by the thomann pa team, thank you guys by the way) the guitar sounds lovely through them, clarity is wonderful with the vocals and the beatbuddy sounds very clear, cymbals are crisp, snare sounds great and they throw out great thump with the subs combination...not sure how well they would do on there own as i've always used the subs with them, but i'm sure they'd perform to high standard. i've no complaints. Great speaker, really impressed with thomanns pro achat series of gear.
