Tidy up the mess of cables...
I got this for our three piece acoustic trio as I was getting fed up with the mess of wires along the front of the band. Now all replaced by one multicore. The length is just right for us.
We use four of the leads as inputs (Violin, mandolin and two microphones), and I have re-placed two of the XLR's with jacks to take the monitor feeds back from the mixer. I will swap the XLR's of one other channel to carry the feed to the powered PA speaker. So it is quite easy to adapt this for differing requirements.
I found it easy to solder, it works well and not only looks better but saves time in setting up. I am sure other, more expensive multi-cores, are sturdier and may last longer, but overall I think this is great value for money.

No issues so far
Does what it's supposed to, each connector is clearly marked with the channel number.

This is a good loom! I have used a few of these - one I even stripped down and used it to solder my own connectors to for a rack input panel. Never had any problems with them!

Multicore Cable
Decent quality multicore cable for the price. Both of the straps to keep everything tidy snapped after a few uses and the individual cable ends do feel a bit flimsy, however other than the straps breaking the actual cables and connectors have performed well so far.

These snakes are very good and make life much easier as you can't make one using parts for the same quality and price.

I bought this as a drum loom (5 piece kit and vocals) and it has worked out very well. I had to strip back the outer sleeve by about 1.5-2 meters so I could run each lead to the individual drum.
This has worked out to be a very cost effective way of acquiring a drum loom with 8 XLR's

Good bang for buck!
Can't argue with the product for the price! Don't expect it to survive forever.
