Papery heads - beware of the size change

The feeling is like they're made of paper, which I guess they are. Having just played some bongo drums with regular leathery heads I now realise there is a world of difference between getting these papery bongos vs. getting just the cheapest "real" bongo drums.

Also, beware, these don't fit older Thomann bongo drums anymore even though the description says they do! The size of the smaller drum has changed since a few years back when I got the Thomann bongos.

these where not easy to assemble. felt like the wrong size.

I have to repair my broken bongo head from an unknown brand. Although the size fits, the height of the new bongo head is too low. hence I put it into the water, soften the skin and fit the rip of our bongo, and now it works! this model produce a better sound than other cheaper choice.

Nämä käyvät todennäköisesti ainoastaan noihin Thomann Bongoihin. Ovat paperista tehdyt joten eivät ole kovinkaan kestäviä. Näitä ei kannata lyödä muuten kuin kädellä, lapseni saivat heti nämä rikki vaikka löivät vain hiljaa malletilla. Äänen puolesta ja muuten sinänsä ok.
