Decent enough
I really only bought this to help sell & ship a guitar in so I haven't had much actual "use".
First impressions are overall good - tolex work, lining, padding etc. all well done.
Has the typical latches you find on cases in this price range, they work but they have that certain lower quality feel to them you don't find on the likes of fender and gibson cases for example.
The fit for a strat isn't the best - a lot of up and down movement, not a whole lot of side to side, but it needs a lot of padding to secure it inside the case if you are using it for shipping.
If the case were knocked over in normal use I would be concerned about neck pocket cracks on fender types and headstock & heel cracks on something like an SG (not sure if an SG actually fits in the case though) so while it would offer good protection from things hitting the outside, fairly serious drops would be cause for concern. Obviously not as protective as a fully form fitting case but they can cost up to 3 times the price.
Have to say it's one probably the first Thomann product I haven't been overly thrilled about but it's always the same with hard cases - there's always a bit of compromise when the price is factored in, it works, but feels like it possesses the bare minimum it needs to work and more effort was put into it looking right.
The guitar I shipped arrived perfectly safe with all the extra padding and I was able to use the box the case shipped in, I used Hermes and in the UK they do have a reputation for mistreating parcels, so it functioned well in that capacity at least.

Beware, sharp edges!
Watch out for the handle, i cut myself in two fingers when i grabbed it. Had to use pliers and a file to make the pins less sharp. Other than that its a good case for the money. I hope the strong chemical smell go away over time.

Not really good fit
It is true, that ST-style/T-Style guitars fit in case but there is nothing that would hold them in place. TE-62 has 10 cm float at the body and just a little less at headstock. OK for storing, not good for transportation.
Quality is OK.

Quality
The build quality is very poor. The interior coin compartment was loose and had to be reinforced myself. Nails, not screws, are used for fastening, which is very bad. Now it remains to be seen how it performs in use.

Bad vinyl
The case is pretty heavy, and the padding inside is fairly thick, the vinyl on the outside is really a bad fit. Specifically the ends. They are ballooned out like a stretched out sock. It looks like there isn't even any glue under it. The metal edge guards are also bent up. Maybe I got a dud, that somehow made it through quality control, I don't know. Since this is the first Thomann case that isn't a TSA flight case. But based on this quality, I won't be buying another one.

Overall, the case is really okay, light, durable, cheap and nice BUT it stinks really hard. And you cant get rid of this smell anyhow... so it is okay if you use it just to protect your guitar on way form rehearsal space to gig, but not to store guitar inside it.

Not as good as expected
I use this case for either a strat copy or a PRS SE Soapbar, and both guitars fit snugly inside. The case is padded and includes a support for the neck. There's also plenty of space inside for accessories. It's a heavy case that feels like it would take its share of knocks.
However, the locking clasps feel cheap and don't inspire confidence. There are four of them, so it's unlikely that they would all fail at the same time, but even so I'd have preferred to pay more for better quality. The handle could also be more robust. I'd be surprised if it failed, but again I would have been happy to pay a bit more just for the feel-good factor.
It will do a job, but I'm just a little bit disappointed as Thomann's own-brand products are usually so good.

Good enough I guess
Had some problems opening the case due to glue residu sticking the 2 sides a bit together.
I hade to use quite some force to open it up the first time (which kinda made me nervous)
It's a bit loose for my Ibanez RG so I added extra padding inside to stop it from moving inside the case.
Not bad for the money and I would recommend it for light travelling.
If you are touring I'd take something more sturdy.

hmmmmm
Guys, C'mon. Would it kill you to wipe off the glue around the edges? These aren't cheap enough to ignore not being able to open the damn things when they arrive.

Decent enough for price
I got this case for a cheap Kramer guitar and it is good enough for the price.
The case seems strong enough, but if you have a valuable guitar I recommend getting a better one than this.
Mine arrived with a couple of scratches on top and two small holes near the handle, looks like a staple that has been removed, strange really, but not worth the hassle of returning.
The inside reflects the price, nothing special but adequate protection for a cheap axe, there is a compartment with a lid, this bends a bit in the middle as there is no support for the lid there, so only keep strings and light things in there.
I don't think that more could be expected for the price, so hopefully it will last for a bit.
