Stiff sounds

When I held it in my hands a pair of these sticks they felt great in grip and as soon as I hit my snare and thumbs all of a sudden the sound changed to better. More round and with the ability of controlling any kind of overtones.
Great sticks get them immediately

Nice hefty stick between 5A and 5B

Great stick if 5A sticks aren't beefy enough for you and 5B too big. Nice big oval tip gives you extra meat on toms and heavy ping on ride cymbals. Terrific!

Stick mit besonderem Sound und Feeling !

Wer sich für Signaturesticks entscheidet, sucht vor allem den Sound des Signaturegebers, in diesem Fall : Charlie Watts von den Rolling Stones. Tatsächlich wird hier der Käufer der VIC FIRTH SCW CHARLIE WATTS Sticks nicht enttäuscht. Denn nach dem ersten Anspielen von Jumping Jack Flash und anderer Stonesklassiker zeigt sich bereits die Soundqualität dieser Sticks.

Trotz des recht dicken Tips ist der Sound beim Anschlag des Ridebeckens keineswegs mulmig oder gar dumpf, sondern vielmehr voll und kräftig. Interessant ist vor allem ein Vergleich mit Sticks, die in Dicke, Größe und Gewicht den Charlie Watts Signature Sticks ähnlich sind. Bei einem Vergleich mit Carbonsticks fällt sofort die "Lebendigkeit" der Charlie Watts Sticks auf.

Preiswertere Sticks aus Ahorn, die etwa die Hälfte dieser Signaturesticks kosten, erreichen nicht annähernd den warmen, kräftigen und klaren Sound der Charlie Watts Sticks, die darüber hinaus auch noch wesentlich länger halten. Da Musik auch immer etwas mit Emotionen zu tun hat, kann man nur zum Kauf der VIC FIRTH SCW CHARLIE WATTS raten, da hier nicht nur authentischer Sound, sondern auch "Feeling" gekauft wird, wenn das Autogramm des Stonesdrummers von den eigenen Händen umschlungen wird.
