Structurele ontwerpfout

Laat ik beginnen te vertellen dat deze bas een super geluid heeft. Het grommende geluid van Warwick is iets waar ik helemaal voor ga. Maar dat gezegd hebbende heeft deze bas ook een groot probleem… De tuners passen niet op de headstock! De gemonteerde tuners bestaan uit 2 delen; het tuningdeel zelf een een busmoer die dat deel van de andere kant van de headstock “vasthoud”. Bij deze basgitaar zijn de busmoeren simpelweg structureel te kort. Ze overlappen het tuningdeel maar met ca 0.5 tot 1 schroefdraadwinding en “houden” daarom niet. Gevolg: de tuners hangen bijna los in de headstock, slechts geborgt door het kleine schroefje.

Mijn conclusie… Deze basgitaren hebben een structurele fout in de headstock.

Conclusie: Deze Warwicks… ik raad het niet aan. Of je moet er gelijk andere tuners bij kopen...
