Useful Phone Gimbal

Pros:
really good affordable gimbal it has an app that allows extra features like face and object tracking in videos as long as the motion isn't too fast,
useful start/stop/photo and zoom functions on the gimbal
the built in light is a nice touch too and it's pretty smooth in action

Cons: made of plastic so the thumbscrew locking mechanism isn't the most robust, Bluetooth disconnects far more easily than it should
which can be a nuisance but only applies if you use the app

Overall: a useful smartphone gimbal and hard to fault at this price

Handy to set up, feels robust, features are easy to use, but it does help to watch a tutorial first. Battery life as expected. The only thing I wish it dis was slower panning and tracking, but that may be as I'm using it for landscapes instead of pieces to camera like most people might.

Ich nutze das Q3 als Tischstativ für mein Handy. Die Steuerung funktioniert gut. Kippen, drehen, neigen wie gewünscht. Die integrierte Beleuchtung macht Sinn und ist OK. Entscheidend für den Kauf war eigentlich das Following System und genau das bekam ich nicht in Funktion. Man/frau benötigt dafür eine App. Trotz Installation, funktioniert es nicht. Entweder ist die Einrichtung komplizierter als ich verstanden habe oder es funktioniert aus anderen Gründen nicht.
So benutze ich den Q3 nun lediglich als Tischstativ und als Go-Cam. Wem es um die Following Funktion geht, der sollte das Gerät vorher irgendwo antesten und ausprobieren. Ich selber würde nach dieser Erfahrung lieber eine App-unabhängige Variante vorziehen. Das ist aber Geschmackssache.
