Iconic strap, reissued faithfully.
The woven pattern of this particular design is iconic, visible in photographs of many pivotal moments in late-60s rock history. Those straps were Ace straps, and this is as close as you can get to finding a 60s original with no wear. Make no mistake, this strap is the real deal, and dAndrea have done a great job bringing it back.
Aesthetically, it's near enough identical to the original, a lot closer than many other clones and homages get, even ones triple this price or more. This one wears the original "Ace" branding and it's the only modern incarnation I'd consider worthy of doing so.
The cotton weave is accurate, the colours are consistent and true to the original, the detail and precision of the pattern is good. The leather ends are soft and pliable, with cleanly affixed rivets. They aren't super thick, but they are strong, quality leather. The ace badging is properly embossed and filled with metallic gold ink. The leather lining on this strap is white, as the originals were, which creates a very pleasing combination of colours when combined with the reds of the weave. It's also something many of the imitations get wrong - going for black or even light brown on the inside of the strap instead.
If you want a proper, period appropriate strap for a 60s or 70s type guitar, electric, acoustic, or bass; be it original or reissue, or even just a hint of the style of that era, this strap is the place to stop looking. You've found it. It's this one.

Look and feel like Hendrix at Woodstock!
I know these straps are a little more expensive, but, This one is a hand made replica of the Woodstock strap used by Hendrix. It feels well made. Has soft leather backing which is really comfortable and looks amazing.. this would make any guitar look cool, but, if you’re a serious musician and have spent on a decent instrument, finish the deal with a cool strap.
Pros.. looks identical to the Hendrix Woodstock strap and is very comfortable to wear.
Cons.. none

Good for what it is, vintage look and vintage quality
Are you looking for a Vintage Ace strap, that is affordable and Ace quality? That's what this is.
I own the same Ace strap and I don't see much difference, the quality on the old ace straps is not too good either.
You can't comparable these or the old ace straps to the boutique copies that you see a lot these days made by companies like Couch and Souldier but you pay 3 times the price for those. This is a good strap with a vintage look. Maybe not ideal for intense gigging but good for a rock around the block.

Excellent Strap
Positives
Comfy
Sturdy
Lightweight
Looks Good
Negatives
Not as long as some other straps I've owned
Possibly not the best for heavier / larger guitars
I'd say this would be perfect for any slimmer guitars - Jags, Strats and some lighter Tele's

Very satisfied
The outer design looks pretty good, even better in person. The strap itself feels really resistant and is confortable on the use, even with my quite heavy Les Paul.

Classic and well made.
Remake of a classic strap. I've been collecting the range, and have not been disappointed. Highly recommended.
