Denon DJ keeps pushing the limits

The next stage in the evolution of the DJ controller is here: The Denon DJ Prime 4+ is the newest version of the (already outstanding) Prime 4 DJ system. Alongside an updated look with a modern white finish, improved jog wheels, and new effect options – plus some updated features in the Engine DJ software – the Prime 4+ has one really knockout innovation: It's the industry's first DJ controller to offer stand-alone stem separation. It couldn't be clearer: Denon DJ continues to push the boundaries of what a DJ setup is capable of, creatively and musically. Similarly, when it comes to streaming services, the Prime 4+ is also unmatched, offering Apple Music, Amazon Music Unlimited, TIDAL, Beatport, Beatsource, SoundCloud GO+, Dropbox, and direct wi-fi access to Denon's Engine software music library on PC and Mac.

Versatility, creativity, musicality

The Denon DJ Prime 4+ is a successful combination of the creative possibilites of four independent decks, the versatility of a range of professional features, and the reliability of Denon's legendary build quality. Together, these characteristics are more than enough to turn every gig into a rock-solid DJ set. In updating the Prime 4+, Denon has primarily focused on bringing the external design in line with their newest products, as well as giving the controller more powerful hardware to handle the new functions of their Engine software suite. But the Prime 4+ is more than just a high-end DJ controller – the integrated lighting control, via the software's Engine Lighting app, also enables the management of individual or automated light shows, even for streaming music. Finally, thanks to the large 10.1" multi-gesture touchscreen and the 16 RGB performance pads, the Prime 4+ is more intuitive than ever before.

About Denon

The Japanese-American company Denon was founded in 1910 and established itself as a leading brand in the 1930s. It has long stood for ground-breaking technological innovations that were frequently world firsts in their time. Denon's passion for invention has produced many remarkable technologies, including the first professionally usable recording device for gramophone records (1939), the first Japanese stereo records and stereo systems (1951), and the first PCM recorder, which was based on the same principle as today's CDs (1970). In 1982, Denon launched the first CD player for home use, the DCD-2000, another milestone among its already widespread innovations. Today the company belongs to D&M Holdings Inc. and is famous for its hi-fi and DJ products.

A world of music

Just like its predecessor the Prime 4, the Denon DJ Prime 4+ comes equipped with two independent microphone channels, two effects sections, and a comprehensive deck and mixing section capable of controlling up to four decks at once. With a total of four USB inputs, an SD card slot, a bay for an internal SATA hard drive, and connectivity for up to four line devices (or even two turntables), the Denon DJ Prime 4+ opens up a world of musical possibilities. In addition to the standard master and booth outputs, there is an extra zone output that can be used to play a separate, pre-defined playlist for another room in parallel with the DJ set. On top of that, thanks to its integrated sampling function, the Denon DJ Prime 4+ can record and save any DJ set it's being used to create.
