T
using them for bass
The_Dark_Lord 14.02.2014
I'm using them for bass.
They deliver a very shaped tone, I especially like them for their good attack.
The note does not get blurred out but starts very defined and clear, even with high speed tremolo picking.

I carved a few notches in it with a scissor, to enhance the grip.
I don't think this is a problem with this type of pick but rather due to my excessive sweating :)

As a jazz 3 user I got used to theese pretty quick. Im playing extreme metal and got the feeling that's not ideal for some chord tremolos. The grip is fine, could be better tho while exposed to sweat and the sound is decent, theres no scratching sounds coming from it

S
The Pick for Heavy Strings and High-Speed Playing
SaulG 26.02.2026
If you play heavy, down-tuned guitars with thick string gauges but still demand precision for serious solo work and shredding, this pick is truly the one.

It digs into the strings effortlessly and delivers a clear, resonant, and highly precise attack — even at very high tempos (I’ve tested it up to 270 BPM). Fast alternate picking feels controlled and articulate rather than scratchy or undefined.

It’s also extremely durable and doesn’t wear out easily, even with aggressive playing. This has become my absolute go-to pick and I haven’t looked back since switching.

For lighter string gauges, the 1.35 mm and 1.14 mm versions are fantastic as well.
