Don't need no other pick. Sharp and hard for a clean sound. Makes fast playing easier for your right hand.

A great pick !

I’ve been messing around with these Dunlop Ultex Sharp Players Picks in 1.0mm for a while now and they’ve kinda become my default electric guitar pick.
They just feel super solid—like they’re never gonna wear out no matter how much I hammer on them or rip through fast picking. That sharp, pointy tip is crazy precise; it glides through the strings so smoothly, no weird catching or drag like some picks start doing after a month. Leads and shred stuff just flow.
Tone-wise they’re bright and snappy with a nice quick attack that cuts right through the band mix—perfect for rock, metal, or anything where you want your notes to pop. They’ve also got those contoured edges so you can flip ’em around depending on what grip feels good that day, and they don’t slip out of my sweaty fingers.
Honestly, if you’re looking for a pick that’s fast, sounds crisp, and just lasts forever, these 1.0 Ultex Sharp ones are stupid good. Grab a pack—you’ll probably be reaching for them every time you play. 🎸

j
snappy sound

I used to play Jazz III picks. Now I play these. In contrast to Jazz III these are thinner yet still stiff enough. They have a sharp point that is good for precision picking just like on the Jazz III. The sound is "snappy" and more vintage sounding than Jazz III. Vintage for me means more pick noise, louder pick sound, louder scrapping sound, more added noise overall. These don't sound clean and precise. This is exactly what I was looking for -a noisier pick.

The ink writing gets erased after a while. A bad thing is all Ultex picks are the same color. So if you have more sizes 0.73, 1.0, 1.14 you don't know which is which when the writing erases! Also they are hard to see when dropped beacause they are transparent.

Great !!!!

I have been searching for guitar picks with good grip and a point on them for easier transition between dynamics. These perfectly suit that and they're incredibly durable. I played a whole set the other night with a new pick and it looked the same after the hour-long torture as prior -- every other pick I've ever played with has become worn down after just an hour or two of playing and becomes a pain to play with after a few concerts; these are an absolute exception.Awesome picks, highly recommended for precise picking and full bright chords, plus good grip! Being translucent, they're kinda easy to misplace. And if you drop it on hardwood floors, forget it, it's gone. Still one of my favorite picks, though..All guitarists have their own particular taste for picks. These are the best one I've ever used! The material gives the attack a much more clear sound than other picks I've used.I LOVE these picks.
