Perfect muffled kick without loosing low end punch! Works fantastic on my 20" kickdrum, wich has a tendensy of being a bit flat/lack of low end, compared to 22" kicks.

Ich spiele Blues-Rock, Soul, Swing und andere Sachen und benutze dafür zwei Sets, eins mit 20 Zoll und eins mit 22 Zoll Bass Drum. Beide habe ich mit EVANS EMAD ausgerüstet. Und jeweils nur ein kleine Decke in der BD liegen (abgeschnittene Möbeltransportdecke aus dem Baumarkt), damit ich ein Grenzflächenmikrofon zur Abnahme reinlegen kann. Was soll ich sagen - ich habe immer wieder rumprobiert und viele verschiedene Felle auf den Bass-Drums gehabt, das hier ist DIE LÖSUNG. Tiefes, voluminöser Fundament, gut stimmbar, gut kontrollierbar. Bin sehr zufrieden. Volle Punktzahl!

Der Klang ist einfach gut: Genug Druck im Bassbereich und ein angenehmer, klarer Attack vom Beater (normaler Filz).
Hinzu kommt: Es ist ein (single) Beater-Pad zum Schutz des Schlagfells dabei, und auch zwei unterschiedlich breite Dämpfungsringe für das auf dem Schlagfell schon montierte Dämpfersystem. Für mich die perfekte Lösung, bei der ich nicht viel Stimmarbeit reinstecken musste, um einen amtlichen Sound zu bekommen. Klare Empfehlung!
