Why not five stars? Well, if I have to complain about something, I'd complain about the format. This book is as unwieldy as a bible. I would have preferred smaller sets of songs (possibly grouped by album), using a larger, easier to read, page size.

Um mich mit dem Gesamtwerk der Beatles, vorrangig mit der Gitarre zu beschäftigen, habe ich mir die Complete Scores, angeschafft.
Klar aufgrund der umfangreichen Notierungen mit Tabulatur ist es ein Songbuch das am Besten im Sitzen auf dem ( guten und stabilen ) Notenpult bearbeitet werden will - da muss man bei der Leserlichkeit damit leben - ist also kein Buch zum "Distanzrocken" - eher für das intensive Selbststudium.
Zum Inhalt - das komplette Werk der Beatles - hat mich aus einem Grund gereizt: Ich muss gestehen mich bis jetzt noch nicht wirklich mit dem Tonmaterial der 4 Briten befasst zu haben - was ich jetzt im Alter 48 plus - endlich nachholen / beginnen wollte.
Und ich bin positiv erstaunt - wie- mit oft nur 3-4 einfachen Akkorden -ein toller Song arrangiert wird - das genau ist für mich der Lernfaktor - und das macht die umfangreiche Gestaltung der Notationen perfekt möglich.
Daumen hoch und sehr empfehlenswert !!!

étant très croyant en terme de Beatles, je classe ce livre dans le rayon Bible !
tout y est !
quand tu veux te pencher sur un morceaux des fab four, tu as tout dedans.
c'est écrit petit donc pas fait pour du déchiffrage un soir de fête avec des amis.
Plutot au calme pour bien comprendre les arrangements et chaque partie d'instrument.
si tu aimes les Beatles, a prendre sans hésiter !

Was soll man zu "Complete Scores" sagen? Sie sind eben komplett. Gut neben der Vollständigkeit ist, dass außer den "üblichen" Band-Instrumenten auch weitere (Streicher, Bläser etc.) bei Bedarf Berücksichtigung finden. Der Preis für diese Vollständigkeit in jede Richtung ist allerdings, dass der Druck sehr klein geraten ist. Man hängt mit der Nase doch fast auf dem Notenständer.
