Sound Top, aber

Ich weiß gar nicht mehr so recht, wie ich eigentlich auf das Custom Dark von JodyJazz gekommen bin. Wahrscheinlich hat einfach das Marketing gut funktioniert.
Ich habe es nicht aus dem Kopf bekommen, also habe ich mir die Größen 6,6*,7,7* zum Testen geholt.
Vorweg: Der Sound ist tatsächlich so warm und weich, wie versprochen. Es „klingt“ im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes verlockend.

Trotzdem habe ich keines der Mundstücke behalten, weil mich die Performance insgesamt nicht überzeugt hat:
Ich finde nicht, dass das Mundstück einfach zu kontrollieren ist, eher im Gegenteil. Ich fand den Widerstand etwas zu hoch und habe mich schwer getan, meine Töne sauber zu treffen und zwar unabhängig von der Bahnöffnung.
Es hat sich anstrengend angefühlt, nicht belohnend und enstpannt. Gegenüber meiner eigenen Mundstücke (die üblichen Kandidaten aus dem Mundstückfriedhof im Schuhkarton) fand ich kein wirklich überzeugendes Argument.
Außerdem ist mir wieder bewußt geworden, was ich schon vor langer Zeit als Erfahrung gemacht habe:
Egal wie das Setup aussieht, nach ein paar Tagen klingt es wieder genauso wie vorher - also nach mir!
Wenn sich also was ändern soll, muss ich mich ändern und nicht mein Setup
