Für Benutzer von Headlessgitarren mit Transtremolos von Steinberger kommen laut Steinberger eigentlich nur die Saiten von LaBella und Daddario in Frage. Diese sind im Vergleich zu den Saiten manch anderer Hersteller "calibrated", dh. präzise auf die exakte Länge zugeschnitten die man benötigt um die ideale Position des Ballends auf dem Tremolo zu ermöglichen, die notwendig ist um Bendings auch in tune ausführen zu können (genauere Infos auf der Steinberger Homepage-Tech Info/TransTrem). Ich benutze sie auf einer Hohner G2T und bin mit der guten Verarbeitung und dem Klang, der einen runden Ton auch im Diskant zulässt sehr zufrieden. Man sollte allerdings darauf achten welche Saitenstärke vorher benutzt wurde und bei einem Wechsel von 009-42 dementsprechend das Tremolo bzw. den Hals nachjustieren.
