Lovely mouthpiece - beautiful sound - velvety warmth
David1237 19.12.2022
Day 1: 1 hour session, hmmm, muffled sound, quite dark, the tooth guard doesn't stay fixed to the crystal mouthpiece, the metal ligature slides up making reed fixing a risk. Oh well, it looks nice at least. Day 2: beautiful warm tones, absolutely gorgeous, front teeth don't hurt without the tooth guard after all which is surprising, a bit of very thin cork attached inside the metal ligature stops slippage, played it for 3 hours straight, couldn't put it down. Day 3 onwards: I absolutely love it, it has such a rich warm tone. For the money it is excellent. My other mouthpieces are Theo Wanne and Otto Link and it is different to both of those - it is in the velvety warm end of the tonal spectrum and really quite free blowing. I would thoroughly recommend it if that is the tonal area you are interested in.
