I have no complaints about the Pro-Ject Primary E Phono.
The package arrived promptly from Thomann. It was well packaged and easy to assemble and set up.
There are no fancy features (e.g. automatic return) but, of course, I knew this going in.
The turntable has to be on a level surface. If not, the stylus can jump past the runout groove and onto the lable of the record. I haven't noticed any skating while playing, however, even when it was slightly non-level.
It sounds good, to me at least.

Excellent sound but...

The external belt is an absolute pain. It keeps snapping out and it broke after 5/6 plays... I've never seen such a silly system for a turntable in my life. The sound is excellent though.

Ich habe viele Plattenspieler in der Preis Region angetestet. Das hier ist der mit dem besten Klang. Die Ausstattung ist puristisch, keine Endabschaltung. Kein automatischer Start. Dafür klingen meine alten Platten besser als ich sie je gehört habe Kleines Minus: Der offen liegende Riemen springt leicht ab, wenn man die Platte abnimmt. Bei vorsichtiger Handhabung aber kein Problem. Für mich zählt der Klang. Wir eher USB Recording machen möchte oder Bluetooth braucht, greift zu Sony oder Lenco.
