Mir wurde das Renaissance Reso von einem Kollegen empfohlen, der immer wieder Probleme mit den Resonanzen zwischen den Toms und der Snare hatte.
(Beim spielen auf den Toms schnarrte der Teppich immer extrem mit).

Für mich persönlich besteht das Grundproblem in der Stimmung zwischen den einzelnen Trommeln, was allerdings schon nerven kann, wenn man abgehetzt zum Gig kommt, das Set aufbaut und dann auch noch mit so was zu tun hat.

Nun gut. Besagter Kollege versicherte mir, das sich das Problem mit diesem Reso Fell erledigt hätte.

Um auf den Punkt zu kommen: Es ist ein bissl besser geworden. Zugegebener maßen. Aber liegt es jetzt am Fellwechsel und dem erneuten Stimmen des Resos? Wohl eher ja... :-)

Zum Sound:
Das Fell klingt tatsächlich etwas "matt". Es erinnert ein wenig an Backpapier.
(Man erinnere sich an die letzte Zubereitung der Quattro Formaggi - TK-Pizza).

Mir persönlich fehlt einfach die letzte Brillianz im Attack um den Snaresound "klar" und "knallig" werden zu lassen.
Die Höhen sind beim Renaissance-Reso also ein wenig bedämpfter und nicht so klar. Wer das mag sollte zuschlagen.

Ich wede wieder auf den Klassiker REMO Ambassador Clear setzten.

Ein Versuch war's wert... Hoffe es hilft Euch weiter...;-)
