A performance powerhouse

The TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme is an advanced vocal and guitar effects processor, featuring studio-quality effects, real-time looping, and automation in a single unit. Designed for live performers, vocalists, and guitarists, it provides an all-in-one solution that streamlines the creation of complex arrangements and boosts stage presence. Key features include automated effects control, three independent phrase loops, and a vast preset library tailored for live performances. The adaptive tone processing, advanced harmonies, and high-quality amp emulations allow users to build, perform, and record full productions with professional finishing touches - using only footswitches. Backing tracks with FX automation can be imported during performances, delivering a polished, fully produced sound without the need for additional gear.

Designed for hands-free control

The TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme is entirely controlled by foot, allowing singers and musicians to stay fully engaged with their performance. Featuring ten footswitches, nine touch-sensitive pads, and a high-visibility LCD display, the layout is designed to assist on-the-fly effect switching without causing any distraction. The LoopAssist function facilitates multi-layered loops by precisely quantising the timing, while the three dedicated control layers (Vocal, Guitar, and Looper) make it easy to switch between different processing modes. The stereo vocal and guitar outputs allow independent routing to PA systems and guitar amps, while MIDI seamlessly synchronises with external gear. The USB audio recording function enables high-resolution, direct-to-drive recordings of live performances - perfect for capturing every detail of a show.

Looping, automation, and real-time recording

At the heart of the TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme is its powerful looping engine, capable of storing and recalling entire song structures. Featuring three independent loop tracks, infinite overdubs, and automatic loop length expansion, the unit lets performers build intricate live arrangements with ease. The built-in USB performance recorder captures every loop, harmony, and effect at 24-bit resolution, ensuring studio-quality playback. Backing tracks can be imported in MP3 or WAV format, with effects automatically triggered in sync with the song - eliminating the need for manual switching mid-performance. Performers can focus on their audience rather than pedalboard choreography, making the TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme a game-changer for solo artists, duos, and live looping musicians.

About TC Helicon

TC Helicon was founded in 2000 as a subsidiary of TC Electronic in cooperation with IVL Technologies Ltd. and has since specialised in voice recording technology. TC Helicon focuses primarily on portable audio interfaces. The product range also includes various signal processors designed for the voice, in the form of effect pedals or compact devices with microphone stand mounts. Since 2015, TC Helicon has belonged to Music Tribe, the holding company of Behringer, which has brought brands such as Midas and Klark Teknik under one roof.

Pro-grade vocal and guitar effects

The TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme features 11 independent effect blocks, offering over 250 factory presets and an extensive suite of vocal and guitar effects. Vocalists can take advantage of advanced harmony processing, HardTune for robotic pitch correction, and a dedicated vocoder for classic vocal effects. Adaptive Tone Processing continually fine-tunes EQ, compression, de-essing, and gating in real time, which keeps vocals clear, balanced, and present in the mix without manual adjustments. Guitarists benefit from 30 amp emulations, TC Electronic stompbox effects, and the BodyRez acoustic enhancement feature, which restores natural warmth to piezo-equipped electro-acoustics. The HIT function provides instant effect layering, allowing performers to dynamically switch between clean and processed sounds. Whether enhancing a lead vocal, shaping a guitar tone, or building multi-layered loops, the TC Helicon VoiceLive 3 Extreme delivers a fully immersive live performance experience.

VL3X-Das Beste-
Johann43 30.06.2015
was meiner Meinung z. Wie gesagt „ Test The Best“!
