I bought this shockmount as a replacement of the original one which was delivered with the SCT 700 in 2005 because it was broken after 8 years.
The plastic screw feels much more comfortable than the metal one from the old model.Also the nut for adjusting the mic into the shockmount has a better quality. Unlike the old version the new is coated which feels much better and more significant. The rubber bands are tight so that the mic is kept in place.
I can recommend everybody who owns the SCT 700 with the old shockmount to buy the new model. The handling is way better.

Als universal Ersatzspinne gut geeignet

Wer eine Ersatzspinne braucht, weil eine Ähnliche z.B. runtergefallen ist, ist hier gut beraten. Meistens ist das innere Teil noch ganz, so dass man nur den Rahmen tauschen braucht. Hier lässt sich das innere Teil gut herausnehmen und austauschen. Der mitgelieferte Innenteil hat ein Gewinde, was man eben nicht universell nutzen kann. Man sollte nur darauf achten, dass die Gummibänder bei der SCT700 einigermaßen dick sind.
Als Rahmen für weniger hübsche Spinnen punktet dieses Modell dazu noch mit Neumann-ähnlicher Optik.
Die Verarbeitung ist völlig OK, sehr anspruchsvolle Menschen werden aber bestimmt optische Kleinigkeiten finden.

Hyvä perus shock mount hinnaltaan ja laadultaan oivalliseen mikkiin. Työn laatu on ihan ok tasoa, ja mukavana yllätyksenä alkuperäiseen muutaman vuoden vanhaan shock mountiin oli parannettu ja paljon jämäkämpi kiinnitys mikkitelineeseen ja parempi kulman säätö. Pitäisi kestää nyt paremmin käyttöä.
