So far I tried them on toms, yet to give them a go on a snare (or anything else really). They are bright, they capture a very beautiful attack with good amount of body and sustain (depends on the placement of course). There’s a bit more bleed involved but nothing that modern tech/plugins can’t take care of. It’s a great value too and definitely my current go-to for toms.

Great mics

Really great mic's for toms! They sound out of this world and make toms sound huge! I'm very happy with them!
Good clip, very sturdy and will clip on most drum kits.
Could also use them on an acoustic banjo with rim.

Downsides (minor issue's)
-not to be placed by inexperienced crew -> fragile necks
-Bleeds a fair bit though you don't need as much overheads in your mix

Wonderful Sound quality. Clear signal with clarity. The mount systems are fantastic. Easy to position and adjust. Solid and firm grip with total vibration isolation. There is nothing better on the market. TG D57 - Excellent.

Honest mic

This mic makes outstanding sounding drums sound? outstanding. This is a very honest mic in need of a decent tuned kit. But if that conditions is met, it will sound bigger than any dynamic mic (SM57, MD-421,?) you put in front of the drums.

Be carefull of bleed, though. This is a condensor after all.
