These closed dynamic headphones are especially suited to life in the recording room, with a clear focus on blocking out external noise, as well as preventing sound leakage that might colour the recording itself: The manufacturer's specs give a measured external noise attenuation of -10dB, which is very impressive. Coherent concept

Every part of the coherent concept behind the Ollo Audio R1 1.0 contributes to its powerful sound. It all begins with its high‑quality mechanical construction that – thanks to large over‑ear pads, swivel‑mounted earcups, and an adjustable headband – not only ensures optimal comfort, but is also key for sound quality and the aforementioned external isolation. At the R1's technical core are its dynamic 50mm drivers driven by neodymium magnets, with patented PU/PET composite diaphragms that deliver a frequency response of 5Hz to 22kHz. One interesting feature is the deliberate, albeit slight, attenuation of the midrange frequencies, which actually results in a more powerful overall sound, much like a loudness effect. With an impedance of just 32 ohms, the Ollo Audio R1 1.0 also delivers its loud, powerful sound when driven by low-voltage sources.

Tough technical toolkit
